work principle
As the fuel flows through the fuel filter coalescer unit, it first passes through the particulate filter. Inside the filter, one or more filter elements are set up to remove any solid particles, including dirt, rust, etc. The fuel then flows through a coalescing filter, which quickly separates oil and water by coalescing the small droplets into large droplets.
