Resin Bonded Filters

Crafted for precision and durability, our resin bonded filters feature a robust matrix of polyester and acrylic fibers permanently bonded with thermosetting resin.

Products Description

Crafted for precision and durability, our resin bonded filters feature a robust matrix of polyester and acrylic fibers permanently bonded with thermosetting resin. This creates a depth-grade structure with graduated porosity, ensuring consistent particle retention and exceptional dirt-holding capacity even under high viscosity and extreme pressure conditions. Ideal for demanding applications in chemicals, coatings, and lubricants.

FAQ

Q: Do you offer cartridges that will fit my existing housing?

A: Very likely, yes. We offer a wide range of standard lengths (10", 20", 30", 40") and end-cap configurations (e.g., DOE, 222/226 O-ring) to fit most major filter housing brands. If you have a non-standard or proprietary housing, we specialize in customizing solutions. Please provide your housing model number or dimensions for a perfect fit.

Q: Are these resin bonded filters suitable for FDA-regulated or pharmaceutical applications?

A: No. While highly resistant to aggressive chemicals, our standard resin-bonded cartridges with phenolic resin are not recommended for use in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or potable water applications due to the nature of the binding resins. We offer other cartridge series for those regulated industries-please inquire.

Q: How can I determine the correct micron rating for my application?

A: A: Micron rating selection depends on your desired level of filtration and the nature of the contaminants. As a general rule: 25-200µm: For coarse particle removal and protection of downstream equipment. 10-25µm: For general clarification and final polishing of medium-viscosity fluids. 1-10µm: For fine polishing of fluids requiring high clarity. Our technical sales team is ready to help you select the optimal rating based on a sample of your product or a detailed process description.
