Product Introduction
Stainless steel basket strainers are designed to capture solid particles in liquids in piping systems. The process is carried out using an internally mounted filter basket. It is often installed in high-velocity flowing pipes to effectively protect pumps and other critical components from contaminant damage.
Made of high-quality stainless steel, this strainer is durable and corrosion-resistant, and can withstand harsh industrial environments. A basket can be installed, called simplex basket strainers. It is also possible to install two baskets, called duplex basket strainers.
Working Principle
Typically, stainless steel basket strainers are installed in pipes through flange connections and are designed to be easily removed so that the basket can be cleaned or replaced. As fluid enters the filter, particulate contaminants are trapped inside the basket, preventing them from continuing down the pipe and causing downstream problems. At the same time, a clean liquid flows out of the outlet.
The strainer ensures the proper operation of equipment pumps, valves, and other piping products, enabling stable filtration and ensuring the quality of the final product. When it's time to clean, simply take the removable basket out, clean it and put it back in for reuse.
