Multi-media Filters for Industrial Water Treatment
Saya Filters will present its multi-media filter range, designed for pre-treatment and industrial process water applications. The filters are constructed with a flat top cover, seamless pipe cylinder, and adjustable bracket, with inlet and outlet flange interfaces integrated into the cylinder design. A support filter basket installed inside retains the filter media.
The filter media bed can be configured with multiple layers including pebbles, quartz sand, activated carbon, anthracite, and manganese sand. Different media combinations can be selected based on specific water quality requirements and the desired filtration outcome.
Multi-media filters are commonly used for suspended solids removal in applications including industrial process water, cooling water make-up, pre-treatment for reverse osmosis systems, and wastewater treatment. The layered media design enables filtration of particles down to the 5–40 micron range, depending on media selection and configuration.
SYZ Series Self-cleaning Filters
The company will also exhibit the SYZ series automatic self-cleaning filter, available in two configurations: scraper type and brush type. Both configurations are driven by an electric motor mounted on the filter housing. In scraper type units, an inner scraper rotates to clean the strainer basket; in brush type units, a rotating brush cleans the wedge wire screen. The cleaning mechanism operates without interrupting the filtration process, allowing continuous operation.
The SYZ series is available in models ranging from 50 t/h to 2,300 t/h maximum flow capacity, with filtration ratings from 50 μm to 3,000 μm to suit different industrial water quality requirements.
