Mist Collector For Cnc Machines

Mist collectors are designed for CNC machine tools to filter contaminants such as oil mist, fume, and other pollutants generated during machine operation. It can be installed directly on a machining center as a single unit or as a centralized oil mist collector for filtering oil mist from multiple processing equipment.

Oil mist collectors for CNC machines can be manufactured using a variety of technologies, including media, centrifugation, and electrostatic precipitation. Each technology has its advantages. Which one to choose depends on the output of the machine and the space requirements. The following is an introduction to each of these three product types.

Media Technology

 

Usually consisting of components such as blowers/impellers, pre-filter elements, secondary filters, post-filters, etc. Multi-stage filter elements are effective at capturing fine contaminants, but need to be cleaned or replaced regularly over time.

Centrifugal Technology

 

The filtration process is mainly achieved by centrifugal force. The high-speed rotating cartridge merges particulate contaminants into larger droplets. Under the action of centrifugal force, the droplets collide with the inner wall of the cylinder and are removed, while clean air is discharged from the top.

Electrostatic Technology

 

Uses electrostatic technology to collect particulate pollutants. When the contaminant enters the collector, it passes through the ionization stage, where ions and electrons attach to the contaminant. After entering the collection stage, the opposite charge attracts and collects the pollutants, and the clean air is discharged.
