Working principle

Self cleaning scraper filters are usually composed of housing, scraper, filter element, motor, water inlet and outlet, sewage valve, control panel and other components. Together, these components enable an efficient fluid purification process.

When contaminated fluid enters the equipment through the inlet, impurities and contaminants are intercepted by the filter element (such as wedge-shaped mesh) and clean fluid flows out of the outlet. With the continuous accumulation of impurities, when the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the filter reaches the set value, the scraper driven by the motor starts to work automatically. It rotates close to the surface of the filter screen to scrape off the contaminants and discharge them through the drain valve.

In addition to utilizing the differential pressure, the time can be set for automatic cleaning and blowdown. If you want to do it manually, you can adjust the specific parameters on the control panel.
