String wound filter is a core consumable widely used in the field of liquid pre-filtration and fine filtration. The core structure of the cartridge consists of layers of specific fiber yarns (e.g. polypropylene, cotton, glass fiber, polyester, etc.) wrapped around a porous skeleton (usually polypropylene or stainless steel) in accordance with precisely controlled winding densities and angles. This unique manufacturing process gives it excellent deep filtration capabilities.

Working Principle

- The liquid to be filtered enters from outside the filter housing.
- As it flows through the wound cartridge, impurity particles are intercepted layer by layer.
- Larger particles are first captured by the loose structure of the outer layer of the cartridge.
- As the liquid flows to the inside of the filter element, the winding density gradually increases, and finer particles are effectively intercepted by the tight structure of the inner layer.
- The purified and clean liquid flows out from the center of the cartridge.
